Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the c2klegacy.com website and the related customer portal, carrier portal, instant-quote tool, load board and API (together, the "Services") provided by C2K Legacy LLC ("C2K Legacy", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services for a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

1. Our role

C2K Legacy arranges freight transportation and related logistics services. Actual freight movements are governed by the written agreement, rate confirmation, bill of lading and other transportation documents that apply to that shipment, together with applicable law. Where those documents conflict with these terms, they control for that shipment. Nothing on this website is a contract to move freight until C2K Legacy confirms the booking.

2. Instant quotes and bookings

• An instant quote is an estimate for standard freight based on the information you enter. It is valid only until the time shown and is not a binding offer.
• A booking request is not accepted until C2K Legacy confirms it. We may decline any request, for example if we cannot cover the load or the information is incomplete.
• Prices assume the shipment is as described. Different weight, dimensions, commodity, locations or dates, special handling and accessorials (such as hazardous materials, liftgate, inside delivery, detention, layover, redelivery or reweigh) can change the price. You must disclose hazardous or restricted goods.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.

3. Accounts and security

Customer and carrier accounts are created by C2K Legacy for approved businesses. Keep your sign-in details and API keys confidential, use them only for your own business, and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or end access at any time, including if we suspect a security risk or a breach of these terms.

4. Load board (carriers)

• The load board is available only to approved carriers who are signed in. Carriers must hold and maintain valid operating authority and the insurance C2K Legacy requires.
• Load details and rates are confidential. Do not copy, scrape, resell or share them, or use them to solicit C2K Legacy's customers.
• Requesting a load does not book it. A load is yours only when C2K Legacy confirms it in writing, for example by rate confirmation. Loads may be changed, covered by others or withdrawn at any time.

5. API and integrations

API access is for approved customers. Do not exceed rate limits, attempt to disrupt or probe the Services, or share your keys. Webhook and EDI endpoints you provide must be yours to use and must be secure. We may change or retire API features with reasonable notice where practical, and may suspend keys that cause abuse or risk.

6. Acceptable use

You may not: break the law or others' rights; interfere with or overload the Services; try to access accounts, data or systems without permission; introduce malware; submit false, misleading or fraudulent information; or use automated tools to collect data other than through our documented API.

7. Intellectual property

The website, its design, software and content belong to C2K Legacy or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended business purpose. Photographs used on this site are used under their respective free-use licences.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or always accurate, and we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Tracking information and ETAs are estimates.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, C2K Legacy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website or Services. Our total liability for claims arising from use of the website and portals is limited to the greater of CA$100 or the amount you paid us for the Services in the three months before the claim. Liability for loss of or damage to freight is governed by the applicable transportation agreement, bill of lading and law, not by these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify C2K Legacy against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Services, or information you provide that infringes rights or breaks the law, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at any time. Terms that by their nature should survive (such as confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and indemnity) will continue.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which C2K Legacy LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where the law requires otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
